JPR Radio: Covid Stories Set To Music Get (Online) World Premiere
It is an unlikely pairing - Covid 19 and choral music. But in November of 2020 non-profit Anima Mundi Productions visited and shared their plan to set personal Covid stories to music in a multi-media production "Six Feet Apart: Stories of Resilience and Transformation."
Executive Director Ethan Gans-Morse shares:
The idea here was to collect pandemic stories as widely as possible to give a cross-section of human experiences and share those voices through the voices of choral music, but because choirs are not singing in person, the art itself imitates life and life imitates art...
